Monero node on selade is an open monero node, which means that anyone can use it to access the monero network.

How to use it

  1. Download the Monero CLI wallet:
  2. Start the wallet:
    ./monero-wallet-cli --daemon-address --daemon-ssl enabled --daemon-ssl-allowed-fingerprints 93D6E98FC625D645A2496A34BAA055FF00F7DFDBDF9EC7DF2F97BBB9DAE1BD4C

Privacy when using a public node

Using a public node worsens privacy a bit, but your money is still secure.
For example I can see what transactions you submit to the network, but not their destination or amount.

SSL certificate

The fingerprint should ensure that the right SSL certificate is required, but in case you want to take a look, the certificate of this node is available here.
